The warehouse building is sprinklered for area increase and the office building is not sprinklered. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and attached engineering. Work to include: construction of non-combustible full height partition walls to create a break room and office within the existing warehouse, new lights / switching, new accessible doors / hardware, installation of new mechanical, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Per Tim Woodard and I's discussion the locking hardware from the breakroom to the warehouse can remain if the exit sign above this door is removed. Also, to provide an exit from this new area, the dead bolt will need to be removed from the door leading into the existing office area and non locking lever hardware installed. The fire alarm system does not need to be extended from the existing office into this new area based on information from a 2008 FIR permit stating this system was voluntary.
