(CAPITAL EDUCATORS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION) *** 1/5/2012 PLAN MODIFICATION TO INCLUDE: REMOVE EXIT SIGNS/LIGHTING FROM HALLWAY 122 & LOAN WORK AREA 117 PER RED-LINES ON SHEET E2.0L. SRZ*** Remodel of an existing 11,321 sq. ft. credit union building per approved plans. Work to include demolition work per plans; moving the existing retail branch from the West building pod to the East building pod; moving the administrative offices from the East building pod to the West building pod; renovation of the retail branch East building pod will include: new offices, teller line, work areas, banking equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, new clerestory ceiling area and entrance; renovation of the West building pod will include: minor modifications to the existing layout, interior finishes, mechanical and electrical upgrades. Whole building work to include: new exterior stucco finishes; new TPO roofing system; modifications to the existing drive system; new metal fabricated entrance canopy; install a new dual height (hi-lo) accessible drinking fountain; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; new suspended ceiling grid system installed per CISCA guidelines; and exterior site improvements. All work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. Interior Demo permit was done under BLD11-00611. An early start/partial permit was done under BLD11-01252. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the new occupant load total is required to be obtained after all work has been inspected and approved and prior to tenant occupying this space. This inspection was for the east side remodeled area only. The two exit discharge lights need to be repaired. Also a fire alarm sytem is shown to be installed but has not been. It appears to be only there to monitor the duct smoke detectors. I told the contractor that the remote annunciators as installed are ok if the fire alarm panel is installed. If it is not installed then the correct remote annunciators need to be installed. The duct smoke detectors will need to be tested when a decision has been made.
