(GILLINGHAM BUILDING) This building will NOT have a fire sprinkler system. To construct a new 5,280 square foot office (880 square feet) and garage (4,400 square feet) building. Concrete work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, and concrete slabs on grade. According to the Geotechnical Investigation, this site has undocumented fill that may extend up to 45 feet below the footings of the new building. The existing material below where the spread footings will be located is required to be removed to a depth of at least 2 feet below the bottom of the proposed spread footings and replaced with structural fill. This work and all other site work is required to comply with the approved Geotechnical Investigation report (7-8-11) and letter (8-8-11) prepared by the Geotechnical Engineer. Special Inspections include concrete and soils. Inspections by the Geotechnical Engineer are also required. The above grade work includes 2x6 wood stud exterior walls, OSB wall sheathing, metal siding, cultured stone veneer, lap siding, engineered wood roof trusses, OSB roof sheathing, metal roofing, interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, exterior side-hinged swinging doors, roll-up exterior doors, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, and interior finishes. The interior side walls and ceilings will have 5/8 inch gypsum wallboard installed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the Geotechnical Investigation report, with the structural calculations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
