(WESTSIDE MECHANICAL & MACHINE) (6-12-12 PLAN MODIFICATION TO RELOCATE AN EXTERIOR MAN DOOR, MAKE AN EXTERIOR OVERHEAD DOOR SMALLER, RELOCATE THE PARTS ROOM, RELOCATE THE “HIGH” AND “LOW” DRINKING FOUNTAIN, AND MOVE A SERVE SINK OUT OF A TOILET ROOM.) This building will NOT have a fire sprinkler system. To construct a new 9,686 square foot mechanical & machine shop building (vehicle repair). Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, masonry exterior walls, concrete slab on grade floors, engineered wood roof trusses, wood structural panel roof deck, overhead doors, man doors, windows, and interior nonbearing walls. Four (4) single user toilet rooms will also be constructed. This building is considered to be one control area for hazardous materials. The manufacturing, processing, generation, use, or storage of materials in this building that constitute a physical or health hazard are not allowed to exceed the maximum allowable quantity limits for a control area as set forth in 2009 IBC Tables 307.1(1) and 307.1(2). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The truss design is a deferred submittal item. Provide truss calculations to the Structural Inspector. The design is required to take into account the weight of the roof top HVAC units. The truss layout is required to match the approved drawings. **CJW**
