(WINGS CENTER) (Does NOT include Planet Kids or Pool) 7/10/12 Plan Modification - Modify scope of work by reducing area of wall demo below the new mezzanine area and modify structural support and framing materials for new mezzanine area; reduce size of open office area and increase size of sprinkler room and nap room; remove select exterior doors from service by removing door hardware, exit signs and securing in place; reduce glazing in wall between rooms 114 & 121 and add new glazing and door in wall between rooms 110 and Planet Kids; add new exit signs and add emergency lighting (3 new in Gym/Cheerleading area, 1 to room 121 at 2nd exit and 2 on mezzanine area - redlined on Sheet A2.2); add new 16' opening at office mezzanine area M102C; and provide two exits from Cheer Leading Area 102; change room use and layout for Room 121; and delete stove and range hood from break room 115A See Plan Modification Plan resubmittals received 10/30/12. drs Remodel of an existing daycare / assembly / activity center per approved plans. Work to include construction of new tube steel support columns, beams, floor framing & sheathing, wall framing, finishes, doors / hardware, main level observation areas, and expand the south end mezzanine adding 609 s.f. support area and 310 s.f. new mezzanine observation area. On the main level, a NAP room, offices, retail area, breakroom/kitchen for existing daycare (licensed for 70 maximum), add an accessible restroom on the main level and work on electrical, mechanical, plumbing and sprinkler system. NOTE: This building was constructed in Ada County in 1980, remodeld in 2002 in Ada County and annexed into Boise City on 1/8/02. The building is declared to be fully sprinklered for allowable area increase under Ada County permit. Note: Mezzanine area is not considered part of the floor area but is considered for determining the fire area per IBC. Existing kitchen shown for daycare has range for heating foods only. No cooking allowed. - drs
