(SOUTHWORTH ASSOCIATES - HOUSE TO OFFICE CONVERSION) (DRH11-00251) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To convert an existing 1,539 square foot house to an office. All residential uses will be abandoned. An existing toilet room will be upgraded to be accessible to the disabled. Work is to include interior walls, wider exterior doors, wider interior doors, new exterior windows, vinyl siding, millwork, and finishes. Structural work includes new concrete footings, concrete piers, steel columns, wood roof joists, and wood structural sheathing for the new entry canopy. Structural upgrade work for the floor will be done to increase the live load capacity of the floor system to at least 40 pounds per square foot. The crawlspace is approved as a mechanical room only (water heater and furnace). Storage or any other uses are not allowed in the crawlspace. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Special Inspection is required for welding. Site work including a paved parking lot, a van accessible parking space, concrete curbs, concrete gutters, and concrete sidewalks will be done in conjunction with this permit. **CJW**
