(HOBBY TOWN) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To combine three existing tenant spaces into one 9,533 square foot retail sales tenant space. This tenant space is located within an existing 15,720 square foot building. Interior nonbearing walls and portions of interior masonry shear walls will be removed. Because the roof trusses run parallel to the shear walls, the masonry shear walls carry very little gravity load. The end portions of the existing interior shear walls will be maintained and will be tied together with a drag beam. Welding, bolting, and epoxy anchors require Special Inspection. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, an entry vestibule, new exterior windows, a new double leaf entry door, infilled exterior window openings, high and low drinking fountains, casework, and finishes. The existing restrooms are required to be accessible to the disabled as defined by current standards. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
