(DENNIS DILLON - GMC SHOWROOM REMODEL) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To remodel an existing 8,934 square foot vehicle showroom building. Work is to include 2 restrooms upgraded to be accessible to the disabled, a “high” and “low” drinking fountain, new exterior windows and doors, interior finishes, and exterior finishes. The new exterior wall finish veneer will be aluminum composite panels with a thermoplastic polyethylene core. The wind design for the exterior aluminum composite panels is a deferred submittal item. Structural work includes a new entry element arch with concrete footings and concrete pedestals. The design for the above grade portion of the entry element arch is a deferred submittal item. In addition, most of the parapet around the perimeter of the lower roof will be raised about 6 feet and braced back to the existing roof with a steep sloped roof structure. A new roof covering and roof drains will be installed. Special Inspection is required for welding, bolting, concrete, epoxy anchors, and soil. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural calculations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
