Warren, the electrician, contacted me wanting to know if exit discharge lighting is required. I found that per the building inspectors review notes the exit discharge lights are required.

The project related fire alarm permit needs finaled. It appears sprinkler protection is needed under the new overhead door at the Smoker. All of the exit signs are non functional. One exit sign needs to be added at the main exit/arch and another at the exit door at the Bar. Repair the non-functional emergency lights. Raise the K class extinguisher in the kitchen to be off the floor. Remove the manaual dead bolt at the freezer door. Provide corrected occupant load sign and contrasting colors for the address numbers.

I spoke to the general contractor about needing to have the fire alarm system functional before final sign off and that modifications are going to be needed due to the new walls being installed which are blocking the strobe coverage.
