RISING SUN SOBER LIVING (Formerly Ustick Inn). Permit for modifications to an existing halfway house with work to include the conversion an existing common area for use as a type “A” accessible sleeping unit with a bathroom facility. One doorway will be in filled on the north wall and a new door will be provided to the existing corridor. This project will also include modifications to the exterior of the structure including, exterior doors, windows, emergency escape openings with associated window wells from the basement and related interior finishes. Fire alarm and notification systems are also to be addressed as part of the building upgrade. No final Certificate of Occupancy will be issued until all building upgrades are completed. A separate fire alarm permit will be required for modifications to the existing Fire Alarm system in order to accommodate the conversion of the common use area to the new type “A” accessible unit.
