A temporary occupancy was given until a fire alarm pemit is issued and the audible portion of the fire alarm system within the resident rooms is addressed. The apartment addressing has been fixed. All other items were ok.

I met with ED and discussed fire life safety items. They stated that they knew a fire alarm permit would be required for modifications to annunciation since separate apartments are now one. It appears the sprinkler protection will remain ok. I let him know that the building sprinkler system will need to be current with its annual inspection and that I would need to have the exit sign/emergency lights in the path of egress tested.
