(BITTERCREEK ALEHOUSE / RED FEATHER LOUNGE - REMODEL) Fire sprinkler system used to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction. To remodel an existing restaurant tenant space (3,677 square feet at the grade level and 389 square feet on the mezzanine level) located within an existing historic building. No portion of the basement is approved for public occupancy. The code upgrades required to allow the public in the basement room at the bottom of the spiral stairway will be done under a separate permit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, new entry vestibules with gypsum board ceilings, new exterior doors, furred walls over interior windows, restaurant equipment, relocated Class II hood, and finishes. A new beam will be provided in the basement to strengthen the floor above. The existing grease hoods will be maintained. No new grease hoods are proposed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The existing restrooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
