Peter, the owner, called in a re-inspection but did not answer his phone at first so I stopped by the project and requested access. The staff gave me access and I found that the previous items had not been corrected. Infact the hardware on the doors had been removed. I walked one staff member through all of the items in hopes it would get relayed back to Peter.



As I was getting back into my vehicle Peter called me so I was able to go over the specifics of the corrections needed. I asked him to re-schedule when the items had been corrected.

The exit sign has not been repaired, an emergency light in the new area is non-functional and the new door hardware is still not single action. The fire extinguisher is current with its inspection but will expire next month.

A five day notice was issued. All issues must be resolved with in 5 working days, 10-24-14.Per my discussion with Peter on 10-15-14, eelctrical and mech. permits need to be finaled. As of today, friday 10-17-14, the electrical and mech. permits are still open and no inspections have been scheduled. A plumbing permit still has not been isuued to date. As for the undersized waste system, per Bill Vandergrift, the engineer must be willing to accept and take resonsibility for the in place system as per Idaho State Plumbing code 301.4. Also the drinking fountain has not been installed, Doors to saunas not yet removed and bracing for newly built walls not installed all per the city approved plans. A correction notice was also issued and signed by Peter.

called peter and scheduled a building conference with him this friday oct.17th, 2014 at 9:30 am. Will go over to see if the required repairs have been made. Also noted that at this time the electrical and mech. permits have not yet been finaled off. per my discussion last week with peter these two permits were to be finaled. Will issue a five day notice this friday and a correction notice noting the outstanding issues.

Went over approved plans with owner (Peter). Did a courtesey walk through inspection and discussed everything that he would need to repair to receive a certificate of occupancy. Made all notations and notes on approved plans. Also noted that the owner has decided to delete both sauna rooms and turn them into storage. Both unlisted heaters to be removed, doors to br removed and replaced with curtain. Also dicsussed a timeline of completeing all work. Owner siad he could be complete by july 4th, roughly six weeks.

A coorection notice was issued to tenant stating that tenant is illegally occupying the adjacent 1,629 S.F. with no certificate of occupancy. Tenant has 15 days to comply with issued building permit, get all required inspections and obtain a certificate of occupancy. At 15 days, a city of boise citation could be issued.
