(TWIN PEAKS RESTAURANT AND BAR) The fire sprinkler system is used for fire area. To remodel an existing 7,494 square foot restaurant and bar building for a new restaurant and bar tenant. Interior nonstructural demolition was done under permit BLD13-01667. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a Men’s urinal room accessible to the disabled, a new bar, and interior finishes. New structural work includes a new 105 square foot entry vestibule with concrete footings, concrete foundation, concrete slab on grade, wood stud walls, 16” diameter decorative rough posts, wood beams, a wood ridge beam, wood rafters, and wood roof sheathing. In addition, a new 14 foot wide opening will be created in an existing exterior wall to accommodate a new overhead door. A new beam will be installed above the new opening. A new shear wall will be created to replace one that will be removed to accommodate the new overhead door. Special inspections are required for welding and epoxy anchors. New cooking equipment (e.g. fryers, range, char-broiler, stock pot stove) will be installed below an existing Type I grease hood. Existing restrooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled as defined by the 2003 IBC. Work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
