Two existing accessible restrooms shared with the adjacent tenant space and exiting from this core area were previously constructed and approved by the Building Official on a field modification to the "vanilla finish" permit. The south wall of this tenant space is an existing 2-hour rated fire wall. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. NOTE: This building is not fire sprinklered & has an alternate approval for the yogurt machines. **TLW**

Need annual inspection for the fire extinguisher and door hardware corrected for exiting/access to the island restrooms that were not shown on the plans. Per email from tim woodard "Talking with Carl Westfall I learned one of the ways we deal with that scenario on existing cases like this would be to only have a key locking dead bolt (Both sides). They would need to sign each side “THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN RESTROOM CORE IS OCCUPIED”. This eliminates the idea of someone besides staff being able to lock people inside that core area. Furthermore by the wording of “RESTROOM CORE” the associate who would be locking the door would hopefully have enough of a trigger to check the restrooms prior to locking them down.
