This phase of construction involves: select interior demolition of select non-bearing walls, plumbing fixtures, and interior doors per plans; installation of new accessible women's restrooms and unisex restroom; completing or creating 1-hour fire partitions to create a new office, storage room, open observation room, closed observation room, and egress corridors; install new accessible drinking fountain; install a utility sink; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; rezone HVAC services; new hot water heater; upgrade the lighting layout; installation of a suspended ceiling system in the new restrooms. The new corridor doors are required to be a 20 minute listed & labeled, self-closing, fire / smoke door / frame assembly. All work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. "This building is fully Fire Sprinklered for R1 occupancy and has an approved Fire Alarm system.
