(5823 FRANKLIN)(NO TENANT) - This is shell permit only and no occupancy is allowed under this permit. Separate tenant improvement permits are required to finish this building for occupancy. Work to include: Construct a new exterior CMU wall on the west side of this building per the approved plans and structural engineering; Pour a new concrete slab floor infill to extend to the new west reinforced CMU wall location; structural roof repairs; new electrical lighting and power; repair existing RTU's; install a new exterior hollow metal door; structural beam modifications per engineering; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; HVAC duct modifications per plans; plumbing and electrical work; means of egress lighting upgrades. All work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, Engineering, and all applicable codes. The electrical work shown on the approved plans is part of the shell construction. Provide duct smoke detector and remoter annunciator in hvac unit 5 as per the plans (and test), hvac unit 6 shows a duct smoke detector as well and if installed will need an annunciator and tested too. Also need panic hardware on the two north exits as per the door schedule, need to repair the two exit discharge lights at the north exits and mount the four fire extinguishers as discussed.
