(CAPITAL HIGH SCHOOL – Locker Room Remodel – Sprinkler / Lighting / Seismic Upgrade) Permit is to remodel the boys and girls locker rooms to be fully accessible, upgrade the lighting and add sprinklers to all first floor classrooms, seismically upgrade the classroom walls, and upgrade one home economics kitchen to be accessible. This building is partially fire sprinklered there is an informal upgrade agreement outline attached to this permit to show the intent to have the building fully spinklered in phases over the next 5 years. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: demolition of non-combustible full height partition walls, and installation of new non-combustible full height partition walls, new lighting / switching, new accessible doors / hardware, installation of new plumbing fixtures, installation of new seismic bracing, installation of new mechanical units, construction of structural bracing to transfer new mechanical units to lower roof deck, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is partial Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
