Description |
This project is for the infill of the exterior wall line of an existing main level patio area under an existing upper level living space supported by columns. The project will include the build-up of the existing slab perimeter and insulation per the shallow foundation requirements in chapter 4 of the IRC. Separate electrical and mechanical permits are required. Due to the small scope and placement of minor excavation, an ESC permit is not required. A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing sub-grade is acceptable must be approved by Public Works prior to scheduling a footing inspection.
