(CRAIG STEIN BEVERAGE - EXPANSION INTO ADJACENT AREA) Fire sprinklers used for building area increase. To expand an existing 77,565 square foot warehouse tenant space into an adjacent 33,797 square foot area. After the expansion, this warehouse tenant space will have a total floor area of about 111,362 square feet. Work is to include new wall and roof insulation, a restroom accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, and finishes. A separate racking permit is required for racks more than 8 feet tall. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Battery-charging areas for equipment shall comply with the 2012 IFC. Ventilation shall be provided in an approved manner to prevent a dangerous accumulation of flammable gases. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the approved code modification as regulated by the Fire Department. The structural analysis confirming the ability of the roof to support the added HVAC units and the design for any required structural changes are deferred submittal items. The analysis and design shall be submitted to the Plan Review Division for review. Changes shall NOT be done to the roof structure and the HVAC units shall NOT be placed on the roof until the structural analysis, and any required structural changes, are approved by the Plan Review Division of the PDS Department. **CJW**
