VISTA WEST (formerly known as Lusk Apartments) - This permit if for the tenant finish of the approximate 85,500 sq. ft. first floor parking garage and office areas and to construct a three story apartment building above a three-hour fire-resistive concrete structural podium. The first story garage is constructed of concrete and is Type 1A construction. The apartment building is constructed of wood frame one-hour fire-resistive construction. The apartment building is being divided by a two-hour fire-resistive fire wall, area one is approximately 58,500 sq. ft. and area two is approximately 103,435 sq. ft.. The second floor has approximately 5,385 square feet of community activity areas and an approximate 2,275 sq. ft. outdoor patio area. The fire wall also functions as a horizontal exit to satisfy travel distance requirements. This building is fully fire sprinklered with an NFPA 13 sprinkler system.
