(TELIC INTERNATIONAL)(HOFF BUILDING - 14TH STORY SHELL - SUITE #1400) . I added the tenant name in and changed the sign off to include a certificate of occupancy per Jenifer. I spoke with Randy Mason the applicant for this permit. When the permit was submitted for review the final lease was not signed for the tenant but was in negotiations. The lease was signed while construction was being completed under the scope of this permit. Randy would like the permit for suite 1400 changed to issue a certificate of occupancy for BLD14-00734 4-30-14 ajs.Fire sprinklers used for high rise. In the past the 12th story, the 14th story, and the 14 story mezzanine have all been one tenant space. To create an office tenant space on the 14th story, including the 14th story mezzanine, separate from the 12th story common area. The 12th story common area was created under permit BLD14-00664. The 14th story will have an occupant load of 9 (1,042 square feet) and the 14th story mezzanine will have an occupant load of 29 (434 square feet). Access to both building stairways is required from the 14th story. One access will be directly to the Northwest stairway. The other access will be down an open stairway to the 12th story and then to the central building stairway. The 14th story mezzanine has one egress stairway down to the 14th story. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, new interior doors, and exit signs. Every occupant on the 14th story must always have access to both building stairways. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This is a shell permit and does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. A separate permit is required to establish a Certificate of Occupancy. **CJW**
