The interior court on the 1st story will be used for assembly purposes with the egress system passing through the building and sharing the egress system that serves the 1st story apartments. The total floor area of this building is about 81,567 square feet (about 27,189 square feet each story). For building area reasons, this building is divided by a 2-hr fire wall, each side having about 13,550 square feet per story. All ground floor units are required to comply as Type B dwelling units. Because this building does not have an elevator, none of the units located on the 2nd and 3rd stories are regulated for accessibility to the disabled.
