Items needed before final life fire safety inspection: knox box needs to be installed, signage for fire alarm control panel and fire sprinkler riser room, gas piping and cpvc piping that is currently exposed in the south stairwell need to be enclosed in a hour fire rated assembly, bell needs to be installed by the fire department connection and addressing needs to be a minimum 4 inch tall numbers with and a minimum stroke width of half an inch.

Kevin, This memo follows up on our memo of 8.26.2015 regarding waiving special inspection of the building foundation concrete. Per section 1705.3 of the building code, a condition of waiving foundation for concrete is that the design of the footing is based on a specified compressive f'c no greater than 2,500 psi regardless of the copressive strength specified in the construction documents. The original calculations had the foundation designed for 3,000 psi. Prior to the previous memo recommending waiving special inspection, we checked the foundation design for 2,500 psi and found it adequate as designed. Calculations are available upon request.
