"WUI Zone A " **1/26/15 modification to scope of work to add approx 50 linear feet, maximum height 6 ft. engineered retaining rock wall at front side yard// leg**1/22/15 modification to lift 2nd story and rebuild walls of 1st floor only in order to get ceiling height of 9'. Wall bracing and construction of walls according to approved plans.//leg***This project is for the remodel of an existing 1870s.f. duplex with existing 901s.f. on the main level and 969s.f. on the upper level into a single family dwelling. There is to be extensive demolition of the interior of the structure including the razing of the existing attached carport. The project construction will include a faux foundation wall under the pop-out side of the structure to increase the lower level by 51s.f. and 320s.f. of upper level addition that will extend over the new 528s.f. attached 2-car garage. The project will include new exterior siding that will meet the WUI "A" requirements. If more than 50% of the roofing is replaced, the entire roof must meet the class "A" also. If the undeerside of the roof overhangs (soffits) are redone it will be required to protect those soffits to match the new. A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing/column subgrade is acceptable has been received by Public Works.
