(DAMSEL IN DEFENSE) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To construct interior improvements for an office and warehouse tenant that will occupy the entire 19,136 square foot building (area includes the floor area occupied by exterior wall furring). The office area will occupy about 5,550 square feet and the warehouse area will occupy about 13,323 square feet. The building shell was done under permit BLD14-02003. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 4 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior doors, interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, millwork, and finishes. A separate permit is required for storage racks over 8 feet tall. Two overhead doors will be removed and the exterior openings filled in with masonry to match the existing masonry walls. Special inspection is required for epoxy anchors and for welding of roof trusses. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
