To construct a 258 square foot building (350 square foot projected roof area) to serve the occupants of an apartment complex. Work is to include 8” x 8” wood columns treated for ground contact, 24” concrete footings that extend 48” below grade for each column, a concrete slab on grade, an engineered wood roof truss systems, wood roof beams, wood roof sheathing, manufactured stone veneer, Hardie board siding, standing seam metal roofing used as siding, and roof shingles. The pavilion is open to the outside on all sides and is not conditioned. A gas fireplace will be constructed below the roof and is required to comply as a radiant heating system. Special Inspection is required for soils and concrete. The design for the roof trusses is a deferred submittal item. Although not covered by permit, the playground equipment and surrounding area is required to be accessible to the disabled by 2012 IBC Section 1109.15.2 and ICC A117.1-2009 Section 1108.
