All ground floor units are required to comply as Type B dwelling units. No elevator is provided in this building. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete slabs on grade, wood stud bearing walls, wood stud shear walls, fiberglass shingles, fiber-cement board siding, manufactured stone veneer, 1-hr dwelling unit separations, .5-hr minimum fire-resistance-rated corridors with 20 minute smoke- and draft-control doors, exterior exit stairways fire rated like the corridor, steel stairways with concrete treads, interior nonbearing walls, millwork, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for soils and for concrete. The roof truss design is a deferred submittal item. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13-R and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department.
