The Carriage House has been accepted as an existing dwelling unit, although it has not been occupied for several years. The seismic upgrade and structural stabilization work was done under permit BLD15-01295. To remodel an existing 429 square foot building (232 sq. ft. 1st story and 197 sq. ft. 2nd story) and to prepare it for occupancy as a dwelling unit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a stairway to serve the 2nd story, exterior windows, an exterior wall infill, interior doors, millwork, and finishes.
