Repair all exit signs and emergency lights and provide testing, provide egress sensors/request to exit buttons on the doors utilizing the mag locks, remove thumbturn dead bolts, contact scott arellano for guidence on the too narrow drive way around the south side of building and the now blocked off fire dept access from the adjoinging parking lot due to the new fence and three manual gates to the property that are not shown on the city approved plans.

Not ready for a final due to the fire sprinkler permit in the review status and no fire alarm permit even submitted yet. I did go over emergency light requierments with the electrician.

Repair all exit signs and emergency lights, provide emergency lighting ina all paths of travel. Fire sprinkler coverage is missing in several rooms and possibly blocked in another with painted sprinkler heads. Sprinkler contractor to provide modifications. Install all ceiling tile. Provide verification that the fire alarm system is being monitored. Fire alarm system notification is missing in many areas and overspaced in others. Fire alarm contractor to provide modifications. Provide single action hardware for all exterior doors. Remove dead bolts from exterior doors. All access controlled egress doors to meet IFC 1008.1.9.8 or 1008.1.9.9. Provide fire extinguishers on mezzanines. The wall layout/mezzanines are not shown on the plans/does not match plans. Please verify with building plan reviewer.
I suggested to the contractor that a fire sprinkler contractor and a fire alarm contractor walk the building and provide code compliant systems.
