(JIMMY JOHN’S – INTERIOR TENANT IMPROVEMENT) (DRH15-00377) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To prepare an existing 1,511 square foot tenant space for a new restaurant tenant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, seven (7) inch high elevated concrete platforms for fixed seating, gypsum board soffits, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. Exterior work for the drive thru was done under permit BLD15-01982 and interior non-structural demolition work was done under permit BLD15-03969. The drawings show 40 dining surfaces two of which are required to be accessible to the disabled. The drive thru window was installed in a new opening in an existing masonry wall. An adequate header is required above the new opening to support gravity loads. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
