Instead of using 2x6 furr out on existing 2x4 walls, wants to use 2x2 nailed to existing wall and fill cavity with 1 1/2" polystyrene to meet Energy Code. Wall to be covered with 1/2" gypsum board with tape, texture finish. See new floor plan and Owens Rigid foam insulation. *** Scope of work is to convert a portion of the old garage into 2 bedrooms and half bath. Electrical, HVAC if needed and plumbing permits will be pulled separately. Work will be performed per the approved plans, and local codes.
