(THE DISTRICT AT PARKCENTER – SWIMMING POOL AND FENCED ENCLOSURE) (DRH15-00030) (3-28-17 PLAN MODIFICATION TO MODIFY THE POOL MECHANICAL ROOM LOCATED IN THE FITNESS CENTER BUILDING AND TO ADD GAS EMERGENCY SHUT OFF VALVES.) To construct an in-ground concrete swimming pool. The water surface area of the swimming pool will be about 1,494 square feet, the pool perimeter will be about 221 lineal feet, and the volume will be about 28,700 gallons. The total fenced area, excluding the landscaped areas but including the pool area, has a total area of about 7,450 square feet. Work is to include a reinforced concrete (shotcrete) swimming pool (pool walls, pool floor, footings and columns for future cabanas), concrete stairways to serve the pool, handrails, a pool lift for the disabled, and pool equipment. One accessible entry for the disabled (i.e. a pool lift) is required for the swimming pool. An accessible entry (i.e. transfer system) is also required for the tanning shelf. The permanent 20’ x 20’ cabana will be constructed under this permit. The 8’ x 8’ cabanas are considered to be furniture and are not regulated by the Building Code. A fence with 3 egress gates to enclose the swimming pool area will also be constructed under this permit. The pool is not allowed to be used until this permit is finaled. Compliance with the 2012 ISPSC is allowed in lieu of the 2012 IBC. The Club Building and the Fitness Center Building restrooms will serve the swimming pool fenced area and were constructed under permits BLD14-01818 and BLD14-01825. The swimming pool shall not be filled with water until the fence is completed. The pool shall not be used and a Certificate of Occupancy shall not be issued until the work authorized under permit BLD14-01818 (Club Building) and BLD14-01825 (Fitness Center Building) is completed and Certificates of Occupancy are issued under those permits. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
