NOTE: See engineering for required fix to the vertical legs of the skid-mount.Verizon Wireless is proposing the following scope of work at their BOI Sunrise communication site:

No change to the existing CDMA antennas
Swap out the (3) existing AWS antennas with (3) HEX-port LTE/AWS antennas. Use this antenna as the LTE 700mhz antenna; reuse the existing coax
. Swap out the (3) existing 40W AWS RRH amps with (3) new 60W AWS RRH amps. Make the 700/AWS antennas Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) functional.
No additional Hybriflex or OVP (surge suppression) boxes needed for this scope of work. Connect the AWS as (4) branch receive, the AWS will use all (4) high-band ports of the HEX-port LTE/AWS antenna
. Add the additional bCEM card for this carrier add to the BBU (shelter).

There will also be some minor modifications within the existing ground shelter; however, there will no change in ground space, power requirements or overall tower height. The upgraded equipment will provide new frequencies to prepare for the next generation and improve capacity coverage in the area.
