(QUAIL RIDGE BOOSTER STATION – SUEZ WATER) (CUP16-00015) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To construct a new 302 square foot building to be used as a booster pumping station to replace an existing underground booster station at the Briar Hill tank site. Water will be pumped from the Briar Hill tank to the Quail Hill tank. This booster station will provide potable and irrigation water to homes in the upper elevations of Quail Ridge in addition to supplying service areas down the hill to the intersection of Hill Road and 36th Street. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete slab on grade, a concrete thrust block structure, concrete pump pedestals, concrete equipment pad, masonry walls, glass block windows, exterior double leaf door, emergency shower and eyewash, wood joist roof structure, wood roof sheathing, noncombustible roof hatches, an awning above the exterior door, and a Class A roof covering. Keystone block retaining walls and a generator within a sound attenuating enclosure will be installed on site outside of the pump building. Special Inspection is required for concrete, masonry, welding, post installed anchors in concrete and masonry (if applicable), and soils. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural calculations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
