(SHELL FOR 901 AND 909 N. COLE ROAD) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To convert a 645 square foot area of an existing single family dwelling to an office tenant space. Work is to include interior wall infills, a restroom accessible to the disabled, and a 1-hr fire-resistance-rated dwelling unit separation (fire partition). A new furnace with a cooling coil will be provided in the existing attic above the office in conjunction with this permit. A condensing unit will be provided outside. This permit is a shell only permit for the office. This permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any office tenant. A separate permit is required to establish occupancy for the office. A Certificate of Occupancy is not required for the single-family dwelling but existing construction is expected to comply, as a minimum, with the 1970 UBC. Before occupancy, the exterior elevated deck, guards, and stairway that serve the single-family dwelling shall be evaluated for safety and repaired if dangerous. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
