(CLICKBANK – STEVEN’S HENAGAR BUILDING – ENTIRE 4TH STORY) (3-22-17 PLAN MODIFICATION TO UPGRADE THE STAIRWAY DOOR HARDWARE ON ALL STORIES. FOR STORIES ABOVE GRADE, STAIRWAY DOORS ARE PERMITTED TO BE LOCKED FROM THE SIDE OPPOSITE THE EGRESS SIDE, PROVIDED THEY ARE OPENABLE FROM THE EGRESS SIDE AND CAPABLE OF BEING UNLOCKED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITHOUT UNLATCHING UPON A SIGNAL BY EMERGENCY PERSONNEL FROM A SINGLE LOCATION INSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING.) The fire sprinkler system is used for height and story increase. An early start was allowed under permit BLD17-00313. To construct interior tenant improvements within an existing shell space located on the 4th story of an existing building 5 story building. This story has never been occupied before. The tenant space will have a total floor area of about 15,407 square feet. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior doors, a delayed egress device on one of the elevator lobby doors, interior windows, gypsum board ceilings, suspended ceilings, cabinets, and finishes. This tenant space is not allowed to be occupied until all the door hardware on both stairways is corrected (i.e. made capable of being unlocked simultaneously without unlatching upon a signal from a single location inside the main entrance to the building) under this permit OR under a separate permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
