Some minor work is occuring but is limited tto the removal of some stairs to an area above the offices. This work is being allowed because the area above the offices is not allowed to be used for any purpose per BLD01-00388. The original racking permit is BLD01-01206. Contacted fire sprinkler contractor in regards to adequate fire sprinkler protection for commodities being stored in the storage racks. Fire sprinkler protection has to be increased for proper coverage of stored commodities Fire sprinkler permit for demo work is complete, no fire alarm modifications, fire extinguishers are in place with current inspection tags. Partial final inspection complete for life fire safety, fire sprinkler work for racks will need to completed at a later date, after fire sprinkler work is completed life fire safety for BLD permit can be finaled.
