To remodel the entire 2nd story, including the former Rose Room, so that the entire 2nd story will be an office occupancy. The Rose Room assembly occupancy is being converted to open office use. Work on the 1st story (about 1,086 square feet) includes a lobby to give access to the 2nd story, and finishes. Work on the 2nd story (about 6,020 square feet on the East, about 3,417 square feet in the Southwest corner, and about 4,663 square feet in the Northwest corner) includes two restrooms accessible to the disabled located in the Northwest corner of the 2nd story, interior nonbearing walls, interior windows, guards, gypsum board ceiling, removing the Northeast stairway and filling in the floor, and finishes. Work on the intermediate floor level (about 476 square feet) between the 1st and 2nd stories includes two assisted-use restrooms accessible to the disabled, several restrooms not accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, gypsum board ceilings, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire alarm system needs to be maintained because the B Occupancy occupant load of the 2nd story exceeds 100. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
