THE DIFFERENCE IN ELEVATION FOR THE RAMP WILL BE 6 INCHES OR LESS. A STEEL PIPE HANDRAIL AND LOW RAIL WILL BE PROVIDED ALONG THE OPEN SIDE FOR EDGE PROTECTION.) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To create a 13,308 square foot tenant space (11,387 square foot 1st story and 1,921 square foot mezzanine) and to convert it from a storage warehouse to a basketball training facility. Work is to include a 2-hr fire-resistance-rated fire barrier wall, interior nonbearing walls, two restrooms accessible to the disabled (one of which is also an accessible shower room), a wood gymnasium floor, court divider curtains, basketball standards, winches, wall pads, corner pads, a new stairway to serve the existing mezzanine, guards at the mezzanine perimeter, and finishes. The evaluation of the roof to support the basketball standards and the design for how they will be attached was provided as part of the structural calculation package. Special Inspection is required for welding and for post installed anchors in hardened concrete. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
