(IDAHO FITNESS – ATHLETIC CLUB – NORTH END OF BUILDING) (DRH17-00231) (8-10-17 PLAN MODIFICATION TO SCALE BACK THE RESTROOM REMODEL. TOILET ROOM DOORS WILL BE REVISED TO SWING OUT.) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To remodel an existing 6,198 square foot tenant space for a new tenant. Two existing single-user toilet rooms will be upgraded to be more accessible to the disabled. A new opening in the West exterior wall for a new 15 feet wide by 10 feet high overhead door will be created. A new header, trimmers, and king studs will be installed to support the roof load and to resist out-of-plane lateral loads. The new overhead door will have a U-value of .13 (R-value of 7.69). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
