(VERMEER ROCKY MOUNTAIN – SHOWROOM AND PARTS AREA – WEST WING) (CZC17-00213) The fire sprinkler system is used, perhaps, for the storage and/or repair of commercial vehicles in the East wing. To remodel a portion of the 3,837 square foot West wing of an existing 10,500 square foot building. Most of the work will be within the West wing. Before an interior wall is removed, verification that it is not a bearing wall or a shear wall is required. The existing header at the new double leaf exterior door is required to be maintained. Work is to include accessible upgrades to the existing restrooms, a new wheelchair accessible drinking fountain, a new interior wall infill, new interior nonbearing walls, a parts counter with a portion accessible to the disabled, a new double leaf exterior door, a new exterior concrete landing at that new door, an exterior wall infill of an abandoned doorway, suspended acoustical ceilings, interior finishes, storage racks with storage no higher than 8 feet above the floor, and a new sales counter with a portion accessible to the disabled within the East wing. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the 3,837 square foot West wing. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
