(ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM (EEG) EXAM ROOMS – 2ND STORY – ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for occupancy. To remodel an area having a floor area of about 1,300 square feet located on the 2nd story of St. Luke’s Hospital to be used as monitoring offices and exam rooms. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, I-2 rated corridor walls, a toilet room accessible to the disabled, interior doors, millwork, new suspended acoustical ceiling grids and tiles, new ceiling tiles in existing ceiling grids, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Existing care suite separations, incidental use separations, stairway enclosures, and the I-2 rated corridor are required to be maintained. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
