(KENSINGTON APARTMENTS – 15 CARPORTS – 64 COVERED PARKING SPACES) (DRH14-00349) The carports do not have a fire sprinkler system. To construct 15 carports (two 3 stall carports including a parking stall accessible to the disabled with an adjacent access aisle located in the center of the carport between columns, ten 4 stall carports, and three 6 stall carports). The 3 stall and 4 stall carports each have a floor area of about 648 square feet and the 6 stall carports each have a floor area of about 972 square feet (10,692 square feet total). Work is to include concrete footings having a diameter of 2 feet and a depth of 4.5 feet, welded steel box columns, steel rafters, steel purlins, and metal roof panels. At least 13 feet 4 inches of distance is required between the existing exterior walls of apartment buildings having 3 or more dwelling units and the carport roof edges. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
