THE WOMEN’S TOILET ROOM WILL HAVE TWO TOILETS AND THE MEN’S TOILET ROOM WILL HAVE ONE TOILET AND ONE URINAL. EACH TOILET ROOM AND ONE TOILET STALL IN EACH TOILET ROOM IS REQUIRED TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE DISABLED. THE APPROVAL WAS BASED ON THE EXPECTATION THAT A PERSON IN A WHEELCHAIR WILL FIRST INVESTIGATE AND EVALUATE THE BEST WAY TO USE THE TOILET STALL AND WILL EITHER MANEUVER TO BACK INTO THE TOILET STALL FOR A SIDE TRANSFER TO THE TOILET OR WILL MANEUVER TO PULL FORWARD INTO THE TOILET STALL FOR A FRONT TRANSFER. THE ACCESSIBLE MANEUVERING CLEARANCES BASED ON THE APPROACH TO EACH DOOR IS REQUIRED.) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To remodel an existing 9,549 square foot two story building (6,219 square feet 1st story and 3,330 square feet 2nd story) for a new office tenant. The 1st story of this building was formerly used as a restaurant. Work is to include a new roof covering, interior nonbearing walls, upgrading two toilet rooms on the 1st story to be accessible to the disabled, a “high” and a “low” drinking fountain on the 1st story, a new interior door with safety glass sidelight, suspended acoustical ceilings, floor coverings, and finishes. A compliant path of egress is required on the East side of this building to provide a compliant means of egress to the public way from the patios and docks located on the South side of the building. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**

Kitchen hood is to not be used for any reason, a permit will be required for modifications to the hood fire suppression system to accomidate new appliances, no appliances are under the type 1 hood as of this inspection.

Provided a double-keyed deadbolt for main entry, door currently has thumbturn deadbolt. Provide signage on main entry door that reads "Door to remain unlocked while building is occupied". Provide exit emergency lighting for exit discharge to public way as discussed. Level 1 has a type 1 hood with a suppression system, no appliances are under hood, when appliances are added a seperate permit will be required for suppression system modifications, hood CANNOT be used until permitted, inspected and passed.
