(BROADWAY & BEACON BUILDING - SHELL) (DRH18-00228) **NO OCCUPANCY ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. TENANT SHALL APPLY FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY PRIOR TO OCCUPYING THE SPACE. To construct a new one story, 1,945 square foot shell building (2,490 square feet projected roof area). This is a shell only permit. (Demo Permit: BLD18-00119) Future occupancies could include A2, B, and M. Future tenants are required to apply for their own permit to establish occupancy. Work is to include concrete continuous footings, wood framed exterior walls, concrete slab on grade, wood roof trusses, rigid insulation installed on top or the roof deck with a single ply membrane roof covering, primary and secondary roof drains, exterior storefront windows and doors. Minimal heating and lighting will be provided. Special Inspection is required for concrete and steel including welding. Special inspections required per attached Form 310 and include reinforcing steel, concrete, and adhesive anchors. Deferred submittals include the pre-engineered wooden roof trusses. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Service sinks, toilet rooms, and perhaps drinking fountains for each tenant space will be required under future tenant improvement permits. **JHB**
