(GROVE HOTEL - TERRACE REMODEL - 4TH FLOOR) Permit to remodel the existing 5,000 sq ft fourth floor outdoor terrace. Work to include: replacing existing light fixtures with new lighting; shade canopies over terrace; shade devices over guestroom windows; new fixed bench seating; additional planters; four new fire pits. The fourth floor terrace is a post-tensioned concrete slab; per structural notes, slab is to be scanned prior to cutting/drilling to ensure that no PT tendons are damaged during construction. Special inspections required per the attached Form 310. This building is fully fire sprinklered for high rise and occupancy. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. A certificate of completion is to be issued at the completion of the project. **JAR**
