MARK’S CATHOLIC SCHOOL – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL REMODEL) (7-2-19 PLAN MODIFICATION TO CONVERT A TEACHER’S LOUNGE AND COMPUTER LAB BACK TO A CLASSROOM, CHANGE A LIBRARY TO A CLASSROOM, AND TO CONSTRUCT TWO COLLABORATION ROOMS WITHIN A COMPUTER LAB. THE SINGLE-USER TOILET ROOM WITHIN THE OFFICE AREA WILL NOT BE UPGRADED TO BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE DISABLED AT THIS TIME. A NEW RECEPTION ROOM HAVING A SERVICE COUNTER/WINDOW WILL BE EXPANDED, A NEW OFFICE HAVING A SERVICE COUNTER/WINDOW WILL BE EXPANDED, AND A NEW ROOM THAT WAS FORMERLY TO BE A CLASSROOM WILL BE EXPANDED AND USED AS A LIBRARY.) This building will eventually have a fire sprinkler system installed for building area increase, fire area, fire flow, and in lieu of fire rated corridors. To remodel a 15,114 square foot area within the elementary classroom portion of an existing church school. Work is to include new exterior windows (U-factor .28 and SHGC .39), new LED light fixtures, interior finishes, updated technology, two multi-user toilet rooms upgraded to be accessible to the disabled, a single-user toilet room upgraded to be accessible to the disabled, wall infills, new interior walls, new interior windows at new service counters/windows, and the first phase of a fire sprinkler system including the fire sprinkler riser. To remodel a 7,754 square foot area within the middle school classroom portion of an existing church school. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, new millwork, lockers, vertical grab bars at existing toilets, finishes, and the first phase of a fire sprinkler system. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This is a scope of work permit. It is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any portion of this building. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
