(BIG AUTOMOTIVE) (Demo Permit: BLD19-02493) (CUP19-00019) **PLAN MODIFICATION 12-27-2019 to remove the firewall that separated the office and shop since an alternate was approved by the fire department to omit the fire suppression system that was originally approved by the fire marshal. **This building is NOT fire sprinklered and shall have fire suppression canisters installed per plan and letter signed by the assistant fire marshal.** Permit is to convert an existing 3,358 sq. ft. residence into an automotive office with parts storage, break room, conference room, administrative offices, (2) two accessible restrooms, and an automotive detailing area in the former 2-car garage. A new covered drive aisle is being added to the existing front covered porch area and is intended for automobiles to drive and/or park underneath. A 55’ x 55’ pre-engineered metal building that totals 2,915 sq. ft. will be added onto the rear (north) of the site and will be divided by a 3-hour fire wall. The PEMB will have 7 overhead doors for automotive use and includes a utility connection for a future breakroom and restroom for the occupants of the building. Separate permits will be required for these plumbing fixtures. **SPECIAL INSPECTIONS** are required per attached Form 310 for concrete placement, anchor bolts, welding, footing excavation/compaction and high-strength bolts. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and attached engineering. The Fire Sprinkler Suppression System and/or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. Racking that exceeds 8 ft. in height requires a separate Building Permit be submitted and approved before installation. **JHB**
