All openings between the buildings have been eliminated. Change of use for upper two floors of existing hotel rooms to apartments and portion of ground floor retail into a lobby to serve the new units and the new exit enclosure. Work will consist of the construction of a new 3 story one-hour rated exit enclosure and a new entry lobby, installation of new smoke/fire doors on the elevator at each story, new PTAC units, exterior windows and finishes, new corridor and stairway doors, interior room finishes, laundry facilities and common areas, and the creation of a type A dwelling unit. This building is being fully fire sprinklered and alarmed.
